After graduating from the University of Central Lancashire and attending Chester Law College, Vicky qualified in 1996 and worked at a Preston-based solicitors before joining Kevills in 1997, becoming partner in 2002. Vicky specialises in the area of family law and is accredited to the Law Society Family Law Panel.
Away from her desk, Vicky enjoys spending time with her husband and their family and friends, as well as travel, reading and art.
Simon joined Kevills as a trainee in 1989 after attending the University of Central Lancashire and Chester Law College, qualifying in 1991. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Personal Injury Litigation from Manchester Metropolitan University, and is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). Simon has been Partner since 1997 and specialises in the areas of civil litigation and commercial law. He is also a member of the Law Society Accident and Personal Injury Panel.

Consultant Solicitor and Head of Private Client Department
Dan has been a solicitor for over twenty years, having worked for firms in Preston, Southport and Chorley. He is Head of our Private Client department and specialises in wills, probate and Powers of Attorneys. He also deals with Court of Protection matters and some commercial and residential conveyancing work for his clients. He has worked in the Private Client area for the last fifteen years.
Dan is highly experienced in dealing with complex matters including wills and estate planning (including trusts), advising on Inheritance Tax and dealing with the administration of the large and complicated as well as the more straightforward estates.
Married, he lives near Preston and has a daughter and a son and a dog, Bobby, a Jack Russell with attitude. He enjoys travel, walking and socialising.
John is a native of Chorley and for most of his professional life has practiced in Chorley at Wallwork and Company from 1989 to 2007 (latterly as Senior Partner) and from 2007 to 2016 as a Partner of Napthens, Solicitors.
John specialises in civil litigation. He is a Member of and Assessor to The Law Society Personal Injury Panel. He is accredited as an Association of Personal Injury Lawyers Senior Litigator. In addition, John specialises in civil litigation, including professional negligence, partnership disputes, property litigation, including disputes between co-owners, and contractual matters. He has significant experience in the higher appellate courts. He has acted for one of the victims of the Alton Towers accident and has acted for numerous professionals, including Doctors, Surveyors, Accountants, Teachers and Lecturers.
He is presently Chair of Lancashire West Citizens Advice Bureau and has been involved in the Citizens Advice movement for more than 25 years.
He is married with two adult children. His hobbies include walking, horse riding, literature and travel.
Clare joined Kevills in October 2014 when the firm joined with Chorley firm Stanley H Cross and Co. Clare is currently working in the Private Client department handling a caseload which includes Wills, Probate/Intestacy, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection.
After completing her university studies Clare returned to her hometown of Chorley and began her career at Stanley H Cross and Co as a Trainee Solicitor in 2008 and later qualified in 2010. During her time at Stanley H Cross and Co Clare also dealt with all aspects of Family Law disputes along with Private Client matters.
Outside of work Clare enjoys spending time with her family and two young children, reading and aerobics.
George joined Kevills in February 2016 after graduating from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Law with Business Studies.
George is a member of the Litigation team, and deals especially with the Personal Injury claims, employment matters, Landlord and Tenant disputes, Contractual disputes and Commercial Disputes. Outside of work, George enjoys playing the guitar, as well as watching and partaking in a variety of sports. He is a keen footballer, and also plays for his local cricket team Orrell Red Triangle.
Simone joined Kevills in 2018. Before joining Kevills, Simone worked for a firm in Merseyside where she completed her Training Contract and qualified as a Solicitor in December 2017. Simone works in our Conveyancing Department. Simone completed her degree at the University of Manchester and her LPC at the University of Law. In her spare time Simone runs a local Brownie Unit. Simone also enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and cooking.
